Haydel´s special tuned duck call with the sound of feeding ducks
The idea behind Haydel´s DRS-88 Double Reed Squeal Duck Call is to produce the sound of feeding ducks.
When eating ducks make this squeal at the end of each note because the food in their craw restrict their vocal cords causing a very special sound that makes migratory ducks think there is a “grocery” down there.
As Kelly Haydel tells in the video below, you need to end each calling sequence with an extra serving of air to make the squeal note.
Calling instruction:
- At the end of each note you must pinch your lips tighter and increase pressure. This causes the reed to lock down yet it allows just the right amount of air to escape allowing the “Squeal”.
Like all Haydel´s calls, the DRS-88 stands can be used even if the call gets wet from your breath or if you drop it in the water.
Features:
- Reproduces the sound of feeding ducks
- Double reed
- Can be used in wet condition
- Color: Clear
