A little technique:

The primary reason why Primus Winter Gas performs well in cold weather is Vapor Mesh, which is a strong absorbent paper inside the cartridge that keeps the gas pressure so that the oven works better than with conventional gas containers.

Vapor Mesh increases the surface area on which the liquid fuel can evaporate to gas. The increased surface area makes the switch from liquid to gas faster, and the speed of this process is what determines the pressure inside the cartridge.
