Haydel´s special tuned Gadwall Call
With the increase in population of Gadwalls over the recent years many hunters have come to rely on these birds. Now you can speak their own language by producing the “tat-tat” sound of the drakes as well as the nasally quacks of the hens.
As Kelly Haydel tells in the video below, you need to blow while saying the words “tat-ta-tat” into the call. The hen usually sounds similar to a mallards only about 3-4 notes.
When you notice the birds use this call and mix both hen and drake sounds. If you have a partner blowing a mallard call, only blow the drake sound.
Like all Haydel´s calls, the GW-01 can be used even if the call gets wet from your breath or if you drop it in the water.
