The solar panel can be mounted directly at the feeder output. The solar panel charges the 12-volt battery and ensures that the supply is not interrupted.

Do not place the solar panel under a barrel where it is shielded from the sun. Make sure the solar panel has clear surroundings and is not obstructed by anything.
