The PC5 Baby Cottontail Call by Dan Thompson is perfect for lure hunting on fox and raccoon dog. PC5 can also be used for crow hunting.

The call is very easy to use and is particularly popular for hunting puppies and young foxes.

Dan Thompson PC5 is perfect for hunting in small areas (tall forest and clearings) where the fox or raccoon dog is expected to be present within 200 meters.

Place yourself at the edge of the area where you have a good overview and start by calling with a lower volume, whilst gradually increasing.

Call for 1 minute and then pause for 2-3 minutes. Blow 3 short and sharp sequences followed by a longer complaining sound that mimics a wounded hare.

A wounded animal screams so remember to give it some force. Make sure to vary the sound so that it does not become monotonous.
