This product features a waterproof solar panel for an environmentally friendly charge of your trail camera. You can always make sure your trail cameras have power when you have this fantastic power bank hooked up to it.

With this new custom-designed solar panel from Bolyguard you are always sure of power levels on your Bolyguard trail camera. It cannot only power your camera but also other items.

If you are not using your camera in that particular season, it means that you have a solar power bank to use to charge up your mobile phone, tablet or many other devices. Therefore, it contains a converter that reduces the power from the batteries to 5 volts, and you will find that the battery indicator on your camera only shows 1-2 bars. This does not mean that the camera lacks power when the solar panel is connected.

The solar panel is powered by 4 pcs of rechargeable lithium batteries that quickly converts solar energy to power on the camera, or device you are charging.

There are LED’s on the Bolyguard Power Bank which indicate how much power is available in the lithium battery:

1 LED <25% power

2 LED: 25-50% power

3 LED: 50-75% power

4 LED: >75% power.

The solar panel has two settings: Camera Mode and General Mode. You switch from one mode to another by pressing the button on the back of the solar panel for about 5 seconds.

In camera mode, the solar panel powers the camera while it is active. This is not possible in General Mode.

• Cable type BG584 fits models SG880, SG883, BG584 and BG595
• Cable type MG984 fits the models MG982, MG983, MG984, MG995, SG520, BG960 and BG590.

To see what condition the solar panel is set to, press the button on the back. If all 4 LED lights are lit, the solar panel is in General Mode. If the LED diodes do not light, the camera is in Camera Mode.

It’s also worth mentioning not to switch the setting whilst charging.

The solar panel for this power bank cannot be used for Spypoint trail cameras as they require 2 ampere supply. This solar panel produces 1 ampere.
