Dan Thompson Pup Squaller – hands-free calling
With the Dan Thompson Pup Squaller predator call, you can easily reproduce the sound of smaller prey such as mice, squirrels, hares, etc.
The call is distinguished by the fact that you can easily hold it between your lips and call while you have both hands free for shots.
It is perfect for puppy hunting early in the season and has a range of approx. 200-400 meters depending on wind conditions.
This call is particularly useful for luring the predator that you have already spotted and would like to get closer.
Start by calling with smaller volumes that gradually increase. Call for 1 minute and pause for 2-3 minutes. Blow a few short and sharp sequences followed by a longer complaining sound that mimics a wounded hare.
Vary the sound so it does not become monotonous.
