Wild pigs are rarely lured over a long distance like fox, deer and birds. When you hear the wild boars approaching, you use the call to produce grunts as if there are already wild boars feeding in the area. It gives confidence and expectation of food to the entering wild boars, and you can lure them into an open area for a safe and well-placed shot.
